Educare Celebrates “Back to the Olden Days”

“Time, a ceaseless river, claims its prize

Leaving memories, as moments fly.”

No matter how badly we want it, we cannot hold time accountable to ourselves. It can only move forward, leaving imprints of memories cherished by us all as we grow older. Many of us teachers at Educare International School have grown up playing many fun games when we were children ourselves. Today, on 17/06/2023 (Saturday), after finishing all our scheduled classes, we celebrated “Back to the Olden Days” with one of the most interesting indoor games of our times, “Names, Places, Things and Animals”. Games like this are becoming extinct among today’s children and we wanted to do something about it.

First the teachers explained about what to do in this game, and chose some random letters for the students to build their words describing a name of a person, a location, an inanimate object and an animal. Now when we think back on this game, we understand that it helped us to get a strong vocabulary and general knowledge, besides being just a fun pastime activity.

The Educarians were enjoying every moment of playing the game. We watched them deep in thought, excitedly checking if they have written all categories correctly and playfully fighting among themselves over uniqueness of their answers. We ourselves slowly began to drift in blissful reminiscence.

These pictures are testimony to “the fun they had”. Hope you find them entertaining as well.

Thank you,
