Educare Celebrates International Students’ Day 2023 In A Unique Way

International Students’ Day is observed annually on November 17th. It commemorates the anniversary of the 1939 Nazi storming of Czech universities and subsequent protests against the occupation. Today, it serves as a reminder of the importance of education, student activism, and the rights of students worldwide.

Educare International School always tries to impact our society by nurturing the young minds to have a well-informed sense of the global and local polity. Our goal is to create exceptional leadership for tomorrow.

And what better way to show leadership than to give essentials to the needy? Today, on 17/11/2023 (Friday), Educarians embarked on a noble mission to provide new clothes to the needy people around Chandannagar, on the eve of a prosperous Jagaddhatri Puja. It is evident from the attached pictures in our Facebook post that they look utterly blissful by the act of helping others.

Besides we also learned about the rich history of the Prabartak Sangha Destitute Home and Welfare Home, which was established in 1920 by the great Motilal Roy and currently the home of 220 orphaned girl children. Many great revolutionaries of Bengal such as Rishi Aurobindo, Rash Behari Bose, Dr. Shyamaprasad Mukherjee and even Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose had hugely helped in its founding years. Our students were enthralled by this experience, and they now have the idea of how a successful social activism looks like in a large scale.

Happy Jagaddhatri Puja. Stay blessed, and spread happiness.

Thank you,
@Educare
