World Music Day, also known as Fête de la Musique, is an annual global celebration of music that takes place on June 21st. The event originated in France in 1982 and has since spread to over 120 countries around the world. World Music Day is a day dedicated to the promotion and enjoyment of music in all its forms and genres, encouraging people of all ages and backgrounds to participate in musical activities.
To celebrate this special day, Educare International School today, on 21/06/2023 (Wednesday) held an Antakshari among the students. Some of the teachers also participated with zeal and enthusiasm.
The essence of World Music Day lies in the belief that music is a powerful force that can transcend language, cultural boundaries, and societal divisions. It brings people together, evokes emotions, and creates a sense of unity and harmony. On this day, music takes center stage, reminding us of its universal language and its ability to inspire, uplift, and connect people around the world.
