“I don’t know how she looks”, said the blind man, “but how I wish to borrow a couple of eyes for just a second to be able to see her!”

Eyes are one of the greatest assets of the human body. It primarily serves the purpose of providing us with vision, helping us perceive the incredible electromagnetic wave called Light.

Light consists of electromagnetic radiation that falls within the visible spectrum. When light enters our eyes, it passes through various structures, including the cornea, lens, and retina. The retina contains specialized cells called photoreceptors, specifically rods and cones, which are sensitive to light. When light strikes these photoreceptor cells, it initiates a complex process of converting light energy into electrical signals. These signals are then transmitted to the brain via the optic nerve, where they are further processed and interpreted as visual information, allowing us to perceive the world around us.

Educare International School is a strong believer in preserving this amazing gift of vision. On 22/06/2023 (Thursday), there was an Eye Check-up Camp in collaboration with Titan Eye+ Singur here in our School as a proof to our mission.

Here are some pictures of the camp in motion.
