Safety education is not an option—it is a necessity. On 31/07/2025 (Thursday), Educare International School took a significant step toward strengthening this essential awareness by organizing a comprehensive Fire Safety Drill in collaboration with local fire safety officers.
The session was designed to provide students with practical knowledge and hands-on experience in handling emergency situations. Conducted by trained professionals, the drill introduced students to critical aspects of fire safety, including evacuation procedures, rescue techniques, and the correct use of fire extinguishers.
The demonstration began with a structured evacuation exercise, where students were guided on how to exit classrooms in an orderly and calm manner. Emphasis was placed on discipline, presence of mind, and the importance of following designated safety routes during emergencies.
This was followed by a detailed explanation and live demonstration of rescue techniques. Students observed how timely action and coordination can significantly reduce risk and ensure safety during fire-related incidents.
One of the most engaging segments of the drill was the practical training on fire extinguisher usage. Students not only learned the theory behind different types of extinguishers but also witnessed their correct handling and application in simulated scenarios. The interactive nature of this session ensured active participation and deeper understanding.
The presence of experienced fire safety officers added authenticity and depth to the learning experience. Their guidance helped bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-life application, making the session both impactful and memorable.
This initiative reflects Educare International School’s commitment to holistic education—where academic learning is complemented by life skills that prepare students for real-world challenges.
By equipping students with awareness, confidence, and practical skills, the school continues to foster a culture of responsibility and preparedness.
