On 16th December 2025, Educare International School observed Vijay Diwas with a sense of deep respect and reflection, commemorating one of the most significant moments in history that marked the triumph of courage, resilience, and the indomitable spirit of those who fought for justice and freedom. The occasion was observed through a documentary screening based on the 1971 India–Pakistan War, offering students a meaningful glimpse into the events that led to the birth of a new nation, Bangladesh, and the extraordinary efforts behind it.
As the documentary unfolded, students were introduced to the remarkable leadership of General Sam Manekshaw, whose strategic brilliance and unwavering determination played a crucial role in shaping the course of the war, alongside the relentless dedication of the Indian Armed Forces and the brave Mukti Bahini, whose collective efforts turned the tide of history. The session served not only as a historical account but as a powerful reminder of the sacrifices made by countless individuals who placed the nation above themselves.
The experience encouraged students to reflect on the true meaning of freedom, helping them understand that the peace and independence we enjoy today are built upon the courage and selflessness of those who came before us. It instilled in them a deeper sense of gratitude, respect, and responsibility towards the nation and its values.
