Swami Vivekananda, a key figure in the introduction of Indian philosophies of Vedanta and Yoga to the Western world, was a charismatic Hindu monk and spiritual leader. Born in 1863 in Kolkata, he played a crucial role in the revival of Hinduism and the promotion of its values. Vivekananda’s famous address at the World’s Parliament of Religions in 1893 in Chicago gained him international recognition, emphasizing the universality of all religions and promoting harmony among them. His teachings continue to inspire and impact people globally.
On 12/01/2024 (Friday), on the eve of his 161st birthday, Educare International School celebrated “National Youth Day 2024” on its school premises. All students embarked on a spiritual journey at the beginning of the program through Yoga and Meditation. Then there was an Interschool Poster Making Competition where they showed off their outstanding creative skills. A short Cultural Event was next where Educarians put together a memorable performance. Lastly, the program concluded with Cricket and Football matches among the students and the Prize Distribution Ceremony for the entire program. We salute the great Indian Sage with our deepest respect and promise to never slack in our journey to serving our community in a better way.
Enjoy these photos as they capture the essence of today’s program.
Thank you,
@Educare
