On 10/04/2024 (Wednesday), Educare International School conducted an open Raisin Art Workshop to its students. It provided the attendees with a creative outlet using unconventional materials like raisins. This workshop supports inclusive education by catering to diverse learning styles and abilities, fostering creativity, problem-solving and collaboration skills, and promoting resourcefulness and sustainability. It aligns well with the National Education Policy’s (NEP-2020) objectives of holistic development and inclusive learning practices, benefiting students of varying backgrounds and abilities.
Using raisins as an art medium in workshops like the one conducted by Educare International School offers several unique benefits. Raisins are readily available, non-toxic, and safe for use by students of all ages. Their texture and shape make them interesting tools for exploring creativity and artistic expression. Additionally, using everyday materials like raisins promotes resourcefulness and encourages students to think creatively about the materials around them. Raisin art can also be a fun and engaging way to introduce art concepts and techniques to students, making the learning experience enjoyable and accessible to all.
Here are some moments from the open workshop. Thank you,
